McKinlee's 1st Day of School

McKinlee is in PRESCHOOL and she loves it!!! She started the Tuesday after Tucker started school (on 8/18). She only goes a couple days a week for a couple hours, but she's already picking up on things so fast!!! She hopped right out of bed that first morning to get in the bath, eat breakfast, get dressed and get out the door. My mom keeps telling us that it's the difference between boys & girls, but she is picking up on things super duper fast! She is spelling her name, can recognize most of the letters of the alphabet and some numbers, counts to 20 and is learning to write her own name. She is ALWAYS excited to go to school, loves her teacher (Mrs. Takau, who was also Tucker's teacher) and is excited to go meet new kids. Tucker has friends in our neighborhood he can play with, but there are VERY FEW kids McKinlee's age for her to play with and NO GIRLS in the neighborhood. She has gotten the shaft as far as playdates go, so she is loving the interaction with kids her own age!
