Sooo...I know it's been FOREVER since I posted and I know I don't have any new pictures. Did I mention that Tucker gave my nice camera a little accidental dunk-a-roo??? Hence the lack of pictures.
Well, I did want to update that Yates and I are expecting baby #3. I took the initial tests Monday morning and had my 1st Dr. appointment yesterday afternoon. I am about 9 weeks along, putting my due date around May 8, 2008. Let's not get our hopes up...that date could change (although probably not any later than May 20, 2008) and for everyone's sake I WON'T go into detail.
We're both super excited as we've been trying for a little while now. We didn't want as much space in between McKinlee and #3 as there is between Tucker and McKinlee (3 years 3 months). There'll be 2 1/2 years in between them and that's just perfect. Now we just need one or two more bedrooms. Maybe we'll have to move my scrapbooking stuff out to the shed and cut a window for some light. ha ha.
Alrighty, there's our BIG update. Here's the other stuff that's been going on:
Yates is working full-time for HPD still, but not for La Verkin. I'm working part-time still at South Central and I still LOVE it! I just started watching a friend's little boy in the mornings for a few hours and he's been so fun so far. Tucker is in his 2nd year of preschool and picking things up pretty well. I do have some pictures from his Pirate Birthday Party (BIG #5) that I'll have to get posted when I get some time. McKinlee is getting very independent and Tucker is having a hard time adjusting. She's always been his tag-a-long and now that she wants to do her own thing it's thrown him for a loop. I couldn't figure out why McKinlee was squealing the other day until I went out in the living room and he'd picked her up and was dragging her toward his room. When I asked him what he was doing he said, "I want her to come play with me in my room." I told him she obviously didn't want to go play in his room. He didn't skip a beat and said, "Well, I think maybe she will when she comes back there with me." He enjoys teasing her and making her upset, which in turn makes me upset...we're one big happy family! ;) Our dog, Nala, is still a little terror. She enjoys making us run after her when she gets out of our yard and REFUSES to come back until she's good and ready. We love her, but she's sure a brat sometimes.
