My how time flies. I know I mentioned something about not missing Titan's 7th month in my last post and this is what happens. Titan will be 8 months old this next week and I am catching everyone up. Truthfully, life is VERY busy right now for our little family! Yates has moved to graveyards, which messes things up everywhere. We still babysit one little boy each weekday and I've added a few more hours trying to get caught up at work. It's been a crazy life to say the least, but after a few weeks we're adjusting. Sorry if I've missed calls or been late in calling you back...I'll try to be better!

Our little chub-O-lub is getting to be quite the handful. He's a good little boy almost all of the time, but he makes it known that he likes to be the center of attention. He started crawling this last week (Friday, 1/23) and is getting better at it every day! He also can push himself from his tummy up to a seated position just in the last few days. He finally figured out how to tuck his little leg to make it work. He has a pretty predictable schedule and takes 2 naps each day and then hits the sack around 8:30 pm. He usually is still waking up once a night to eat, but sleeps until 7-8 am so I can't complain. He's getting so that he likes lumpier foods and will even eat the Macaroni & Cheese baby food they have. He doesn't mind the little pasta pieces at all. We're still working on him drinking out of a sippy cup and he has to be in the right mood to want it at all, but he likes to chew on the end of it! He's gotten really funny socially...he's not too afraid of most people and has started copying sounds. If you laugh, he'll try to mimic it and "talk" to you. It's fun to remember these first stages, but he's sure growing up fast!!!!

What a little ham! He started rocking back and forth on his hands and knees a lot getting ready to start crawling. Right now the only movement he makes is backward. He's gotten really good at spinning himself in circles and then rolling to where he needs to go. You can see in a couple of the pictures that he has a little sour-puss face where he just clamps his little gums together and makes a funny little squealy-grunt sound to let you know he's not happy about something or that he wants something.

We finally got a few good pictures of his teeth coming through although they've been here since he was 4 1/2 mos old. He likes to be on his stomach and will spin in circles and try to roll to get to where he wants...sometimes he misses and sometimes he succeeds! Look at those baby blues...DREAMY! I love the fact that recessive genes exist, simply for the fact that I can have beautiful brown AND blue eyed children! His dr. appt went well and his stats at 6 mos were:
18 lbs 9 oz and 28 inches long. He's just a big kid!

Tucker and his tooth
Tucker lost his FIRST TOOTH on New Year's Eve! He was so proud of his tiny little thing! He put it in a little sandwich bag and drug it around with him everywhere! He actually forgot it over at our friend's house on New Year's Eve so he didn't get to put it under his pillow until New Year's Day! The tooth fairy was generous and gave him a whole $1! He was so excited...I told him the tooth fairy always pays the most for the first tooth and he won't get that much every time. I only remember ever getting a quarter at the most and I'm sure that even with a "cost of living" raise the amount hasn't gotten all the way up to a dollar in the 20 short years since I lost my teeth! LOL
