Speed test

So, this post is going to look like the post below...hmmm...what do you think we enjoy doing? After Yates got off work this last Friday, we packed up the trailer and headed out to go camping with some friends out by the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. It was SUPER nice this last Friday and Saturday and I took shorts for the kids to play in the sand with. Sunday was rather chilly and windy so we spent most of the day in our trailers playing card games and eating. :) Wind and sand do NOT mix while camping, especially when you have kids that get a little stir crazy being cooped up in a little trailer. It's a good thing Saturday was sooooo nice or it would have put a damper on things. We have decided we like going out there because it's far enough away to be completely out of cell service, but close enough that it doesn't break the bank getting out to have fun. On that note...our new diesel truck we bought to pull the trailer worked like a CHAMP! It's the first time we've pulled the trailer with the new truck and it was so worth it!

Hmmm...now why does this picture look familiar? I hadn't even noticed Yates' Mountain Dew/chips combo in the last outing pictures until Jane pointed it out. Well, it looks like it's a tradition because here they are again!
